Rhetorical Impact on Everyday Life
There are many different things that I see everyday that have a rhetorical impact on my life. For example when I walk only a couple of feet outside my dorm building I see the Wendy's food sign. This has an impact on my life because almost every time I pass by this sign, it makes me want either a Wendy's cheeseburger or a frosty. A few other things that I see everyday that have an impact on my life are some of the commercials on TV. There are many different types of commercials that impact me, for example an Audi car commercial, all of the many delicious food commercials, and the travel commercials to tropical destinations. All of these commercials never fail every single time that I see them on TV to make me want each one of them and then I find myself just sitting on my futon wishing I had an Audi or some sort of delicious food that is not Schilleter or going to a tropical destination where I was just laying on a tropical beach somewhere tanning. There are also some things that I see that have a negative impact to me. Occasionally when I walk back to my dorm from class I will pass by the Clemson student radio station team as they are playing music from their radio station and passing out fliers. This has a rhetorical impact on my life because each time I pass by them it never fails that I throw the flier away that they hand me and I have absolutely no interest in turning to their radio station and listening to that music. There are many things around me that can impact my life positively or negatively it just depends on how I choose to look at them.
